Good morning jeep fans!


4 days left at ol' Van Drunen Ford. been here 15 long years and now im leaving my desk to Rew.

tower climbing job starts in 7 days.
have to do a week of training with the new boss in Goodland IN then he sends me to MI for 2 more weeks of training. then if all goes according to plans, ill be back in Kankakee for my everyday mon-fri/7-3 job!

MI folks, i may have to hit you up if im close to you. i think that we get done at about 3 in the afternoon then go back to our hotels. instead of staring at a hotel wall, i may need to catch a beer or 2
 
Vacation doesn't really seem like vacation when all you have planned is to work on your vehicles.

Putting axles together for my 1st gen 4runner.
Unrigging the new 4runner. Its been beat since I wheeled it last.
Intake pan gasket and tune up on the ram.
Radiator and brakes on the white xj.
Gas tank on the green xj.

Where are you going to be in MI?
 
For me to not be bothered by work on my time of is to be at least an Hour away, Then Sprint doesn't work and it's easy to blow off phone calls and such. But If I swing by the shop on a very rare day off I get stuck dealing with customers or other crap that no one but be can handle. Eh the joys of your own business.
 
I'm going to Standish, MI in the beginning of August for a little family weekend with Heidi's side of the family. I'll have to make a detour to get some midland Porter.
