Friday! looking forward to a long weekend of cutting out small pieces of drywall putting new stuff in, muding and painting it. then ripping out the rest of my flooring.

Anybody got any tips on keeping the rear output shaft seal on t-case from leaking? Just put a new one on last night and it's already leaking again around the output shaft.

fixed yoke?

if it leaks after new seal there's three possibilities.

You didn't install it right.
The seal area on the shaft is grooved/.damaged
or the output bearing is going bad.

Yeah! Last day of work. Only have to catch up on school work and install a ceiling fan this weekend, while the kids are under foot.

Yea fixed yoke. It's a 242 with a sye. Gonna have to pull it back in garage next week and fix it. Getting to close to WF to be messing with stuff like this.

shit i haven't even started on my list yet. nothing like last minute wrenching, last year i finished the steering the weekend before leaving. the test run for making sure it worked was the two hour drive to Attica towing the camper.

Started my new job this week. Have been trying to absorb all this new information being thrown at me all week. While still Project Engineering, it's a completely different field using things I haven't thought about since Sophomore year of college (2008).

There's going to be a lot of struggle ahead, both in terms of learning everything and adjusting to working for a big company instead of a small company. So far though, the perks i've heard about (and some that i've experienced) are awesome.

Because the Jeep is prepped already for WF, I ordered a flat skid, oil pan, and tranny skid plate for the Jeep from ROKMEN. It should be here today or tomorrow.

Actually it was because when I installed the new D30, I remembered that the factory skid plate is frowning at me, the stock tranny skid plate attached to a cross member that is bent and hitting the front ds at full droop and my oil pan is dented...again...

Need to order 1 inch motor mount lift too.

I flipped a few for $100 a set. That has been a few years ago though.

I used to sell them for 150 but 100 seams to be going rate now

This is what I sold quite a number of them for during C4C. More than that and the sets sat looking for a buyer.

That's kinda what I thought. If I thought I could get $120 out of them I'd have at it. Just don't think the profit V/S the labour/time is worth it at $100...

The 99-01ish 1500 masters are a bolt on with the pedal rod mod. There are two kinds, a 1 inch piston and a 1 1/8 inch piston. I can't remember how you tell the difference. I have the 1 1/8 one in my jeep.

I think you have to have a factory option engine to race EMC? Anyways, I had a 01 ram 2500 MC and it firmed my pedal right up. Sean had the same problem and used the same mc and it didn't fix his. it ended up being his booster

I ran stock 95 XJ booster and mc and it stopped 39s on the big boy axles on a dime...
