It was 22 yesterday when I started the truck and I let it run for 3 minutes then by the time I got to the stoplight 1 mile down the road it was blowing heat. The new thermostat I put in it works.

The heater core in the Harley was blocked this morning. Damn thing only blew cold.
 
My XJ had no heat until this year, heater core was blocked badly. When I was wheeling in December, it wasn't too cold, but cold. I had to turn the heat off after a while because it was burning up inside the XJ.

well looked at the lifted xj tonight...not bad, but some things need a little attention. its pretty clean on the inside though, which is appealing to me in a lot of ways. waiting for wife approval for the trade.

if the deal happens ill have an RC 3" lift with shocks and a set of 33x10.50 km2s for sale. may also sell the wheels (pro comp aluminum's) everything is in pretty good shape, so hopefully it will net enough for me to buy a zip locker to replace the ox i lose in the trade
 
Maybe I am just getting older and more conscious about some of my spending, but holy shit are new custom rims and GOOD tires expensive. I did a little shopping for a set up for the new Duramax.....damn near $3K. Boys let me equate that into my terms...thats one damn good producing cow w/ calf in todays market and that is what I view as income...wheels, they dont make me money...but should would look sweet! :D

I would do bad things to good people to get something like this in my driveway.



But there is about 7 to 10 k in wheels and tires there.

I am looking at XD Badlands w/ 285/55/20 BFG's. The new truck is a single wheel, I still have the Dodge dually...and that is enough tires on the ground for me :D

glad to have my feet on the ground. todays drive was white knuckled all the way up. I57 is just one big ice rink right now. saw one car 40 yard into a field. In total, must have been some 20+ cars in the ditch this morning.

Just got the 5" flo pro w/muffler and EFI live on my Duramax, still have to install the switch for tunes but it sounds good, haha :clap:

well the 3-5 we were supposed to get all day here came down overnight and we are still supposed to get "snow squalls" and thunder snow this afternoon. i think i need to work on the snowblower more today...
