Important

Because of this I say no. Unless I can be convinced otherwise.

The main thing I'm worried about is finding out it's a bigger problem than I planned. I bought an 89 xj last year that didn't run and that turned out to being a bigger project than I thought. It wouldn't run either.

buy it, drag it home. I will drive over there to pick up cap, maybe spend the night and bring all of my renix spare parts, maybe even my wife so we can go have a good time. If the motor isn't locked up I can make it run in a day.

The body is the deciding fator. A good shape MJ body is worth the asking price. Talk dude down to 350 or 40 bucks, you can part it for more than that.

The guy won't come off his price and I'm not gonna pay that much it. Still trying to work with him on it.

Will let you know what happens Nate

I'm going to pick up a 5.9 limited after work. It needs a couple things then hopefully I can sell it and use the profit for cherokee crawl. Debating on selling or parting my 95 XJ too then maybe hitting nac then crawl.

Got my XJ a little muddy last weekend at the local dirt track.

This was the result after 80 laps in slop before they called the race.

I also had already knocked a bunch off and some fell off after I parked it last Sunday. I did put 100 miles on it last weekend.

What all does it need? If it's the one I seen on Facebook it didn't look bad

That dude was flaky. It doesn't have the 5.9 grill or wheels so I'm going to at least get a 5.9 grill then it needs a rear wiper motor and rear axle seals

Aaron didn't some dumbass get mouthy with you and try to dent your jeep by slamming their door into the side of it once, only to dent the shit out of their door on your rock rail? I forget what the backstory on that was.

I bought 20' of -6an transmission line and all the necessary fittings plus a B$M pan. If my homemade line doesn't work out then in lighting the jeep on fire then scrapping what doesn't burn lol

Just take all the good parts off and put them on your new 5.9...

...then take it to the Crawl and make it look like the old one :greensmok

They company you get with the jeep habit is worth the extra expense over cocaine lol

thats a tough one...top shelf blow and hookers is hard to contend with.

Throw in some black tar heroin and an evening with Phillip Seymour Hoffman and it is a date...errrrr, wait, too soon?

Cheese "hookers, cocaine and heroin jokes never get old" Man

Said something about hookers and blow at work today.. Everyone in the meeting stopped and stared. Corporate 'murica sure ain't Naxja....

You work at the wrong place...

We had a full company HR training meeting today and the VP of engineering and shop manager seemed to be having a contest for who could make the worst jokes.

HR person: tells story about tactics used when looking for a husband.
VP of engineering: how specific were your benefits specifications in the posting? :gee:
shop manager: my ex wife quit when I asked her if I could hire an assistant! :gee:

(this is why I love startups.)

The stiff FBI agents teaching my class finally showed a little humor today after four days.

mac 'they wore suits the first two days!' gyvr
