Important

so, who's done TJ pads on the ZJ rear calipers?

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/upgrade-zj-rear-disc-brake-conversion-1188732/

this isn't so much as an upgrade thing, more of a the brackets are grooved and I don't feel like welding and grinding them thing.
He mentions abutment clips, but I only see them for the front?
So do I put front clips on the rear brackets with the TJ pads? I'm going to head to the parts store with calipers, but they don't have the clips in stock. I want ot make sure it's the right bit before I have them order them.

TJ 44 pads have nearly 11 thousands more space where they ride on the rails.
it's very close to the front ZJ pad, so I ordered the abutment clips and got rear TJ pads.
Ground out the rust on the grooved brackets and skim coated them with JB weld so the clips don't get mushed down into the grooves.

This looks like it's gonna work. So good news for everyone with zj brakes and grooved brackets, which is pretty much everyone.

That's always fun. We get that every few months on 235, never fails some nitwit goes screaming by at 90 in 60 and gets nabbed even when they say they are doing it for a week on the news.

Just heard golf ball size hail after 10pm. I love watching all the bikers(motor and pedal) on nights like this scurrying around because of the weather. Haha

Followed this guy around all day Saturday.

Damn. There hasn't been any bad flooding around me this year. The last few years we have had sink holes and a lot of bridges moving and needing to be replaced. That sucks. Hopefully not too much of the house gets damaged

did he know it was going to flood? why didn't he park on high ground?

Today is going to be fun, road trip from Sheboygan, WI to Des Moines, IA for work with a co-worker that will talk non-stop the whole time.
