Important

Drive safe. snowing here in the Chicagoland area

So I acquired that 95 XJ that my FIL was having trouble with. Pick up coil is the issue I think. 136,000 miles and it was a park ranger jeep so it's got all the skid plates and has been taken care of. Only rust is a little on the rockers. I'm excited!

Safe travels to all of the WF bound today and tomorrow.

Yep Sean's TJ lol. The XJ needs motor mounts too so I'll be ordering some brown dogs to throw in there before I start driving it.

Drove jeep yesterday steering wheel was straight. Drive into work this morning steering wheel is off 90 degrees, I don't remember hitting anything significant enough to move anything.....I guess it will get a campground diagnosis.

Well I get home and there is broken (glass) headlight all over the street in front of my house, I am guessing someone hit my jeep last night. Not sure where they hit it as there is no mark on it......only evidence is broken glass all over the street and my steering wheel is crooked...

bastards

Atleast no damage was done to your Jeep. Sucks that they couldn't even so and let you know they hit it.

What really sucks is they left all that glass in the street. We do not have a lot of traffic on the street so if its someone who lives back there I will be able to tell pretty easy who it was....on a mission, glass is saved and waiting for a driveway to toss it into.

Yea they could have atleast picked up the broken glass. Might even look for someone with a bright shiny new head light as well. They might be trying to hide the accident.

You likely know which way they traveled and you can look at most vehicles and know if they will have glass headlamps.... I'd start looking right away...
