Important

i pay about 90 bucks a month for liability on my junky ass xj :( boo

it will be about 130-140 once the wj is on insurance...then my insurance will get cut in half when we move

It will be driven once a week, even if it is just to keep the tires, gas, and battery fresh. Once it is lifted and more off road, it will be taken to Badlands once a month.

I said that about my 01. Swore I would never sell it, but I did. I regret it every day, but I still sold it after never thinking I would.

This won't be for sale, EVER. It will die with me, hopefully in 10 years or more.

I have said this about many vehicles.....I own none of them :D

they all have expiration dates because new stuff is always exciting

So I decided to stay away from nitro gears due to the way they are handling their warranty claims. So I'm between Yukon (more expensive) or USA standard 4.56 gears with either timken (more expensive) or koyo master install kit. What do you guys that do gear installs think? This is for my HP44 with zip locker and RCVs

tyler has had good success with the g2 warranty.....betty and floyd both have g2 gears in them apparently, we all know hey they get wheeled.

Tyler talked me into the g2's i bought for sam's jeep.

I think you should spend a shit ton of money on all that high speed low drag stuff for your 44 and then go cheap on gears and bearings.

I pay about $140 a month to insure full coverage on the RV, 5.9, and LJ with plpd on the other ZJ and a small policy on the single place trailer.

mac 'making State Farm rich every month' gyvr

This is us..

Full coverage on the Aztek, and the Expedition. plpd on the Waggy and the trailer.

$130 a month and sick of it...

And I have $350 wrapped up in this high speed low drag 44. That's a complete HP44 set up to bolt in and narrowed to take rubicon inners, a solid diff cover, lube locker, and zip locker. Plus I still have another complete 78/79 f250 44 to sell to bring that total even further down. When it's all said and done I'll have the cost if RCVs and whatever gear set up costs. I'd say I'm doing pretty good on building this high speed 44

Came home to the wife and sister in law baking cookies. Not sure what they are doing but there is 5lbs of flower a counter top full of asorted sugars( regular brown and powder) and a leaning tower of butter.

Listen dude, I don't know you other than a couple times around a campfire. We don't trade texts. I don't know anything about your axle build other than you have a ton of expensive parts in it and you've made cheap chinese gears and bearings an option. I think it's dumb to put together an axle like that and skimp on the consumables to save a couple bucks.

Congrats on not spending any money on your axle build. Maybe it won't break and keep everyone on the side of the mountain fixing your junk all day.

Then why do you comment on topics that you are ignorant to? I never asked for help. It was offered and I came because that's what this club is about. Do you get off on being a d bag? There is a reason we don't trade texts. I try to get along with everyone and I'm happy with the outcome. Maybe that's something you should try "tough" guy. Your negativity towards me is old. It's clear that you don't like me and I tried to be nice to you but I'm done being the nice guy with you.

Also koyo is a jap bearing and is a quality bearing. Toyota and even Mopar uses them. The rest of what I brought up are USA. If it eases your mind though I am going with the G2 and their install kit which is timkin bearing.

anyone have a set of wj knuckles that they want to part with? just found a great deal on hubs and i need to change my hubs sometime soon anyway...

if not, does anyone need some nib timken hubs for a wj?

same here man....I dont honestly even know what our insurance costs now a days....it is such a crock of shit.

We had a claim on our roof a few years back and they said that there was no notable damage and they denied it, the next year it leaked bad enough that the ceiling fell in, ruined the floor too from the water damage...when they got around to sending someone out it was already decided before they got here that they would deny it on prior damage (which they denied was there originally). Good thing I documented every bit of it from both accounts, a call from our attorney and a court date later, we were victorious!

We carry so freaking many policies it is not funny. A policy for the autos, home, farm, extra dwellings (sheds and shop), farm equipment, livestock, crop, rented ground liability and employee accidental coverage.....it makes my head spin.

Cheese "they want paid on time but dont want to pay out..." Man
