well, here's the big rock report.
lot's of potential here, some good hills, nasty mud, loose shale hill climbs that are always wet from a spring. Terrain is very cool.
THe bad.
there's no way in hell they should be charging people to ride here.
Trails were basically atv trails. Large trees were down in front of the trails that we had to move even to continue.
No trails are marked, there's no trail map, and becuase of the terrain you'd get lost realy easily.
Our "trail guide" was totally unprepared, used our groups supplies to fix his junk. Got to ride to the said waterfall, and watch him full throttle attack it for a while, then he said he's never even attempted it.
So if you've never attempted it then why are you trying to lead people up it.
Overall I was disgusted that I paid $20 to get in. I bet we did about an actual two hours of driving in an 8 hour day.
If they get their shit together and get the trails cleaned of all the logs, and big nasty stumps that were waiting to f up tires I'd consider it, but unless they make some real improvements to the trail system, and keep the atv's out of the truck side of the park I won't go back.
Oh, I fogot to mention the ATV's. They rule the park evidently, and pay no attention to the 3500Lb trucks on the trail, they fully expected us to stop, even when we were descending and ascending these muddy hills.
