Important

Thanks guys... I've decided I'm just going to throw parts at it again, namely a fuel pump and an O2 sensor and see what happens... If that doesn't fix it, the pot should go to me to recoup funds. >:P
Stupid question, but have you checked the oxygen sensor fuse in the PDC?

I have about an hours worth of videos of diagnostics from a really good youtube channel, It ended up being the oxygen sensor wiring.

This is one of them

Edit:
Another jeep, This is where they actually found a bad 02 circuit.

ding ding ding! i agree

I know that redheeps junk turned off when he tore the exhaust off and shorted the o2 harness. It popped some fuses and just shut off like you'd turned the key.

Yep. Every OBD2 jeep I've ever worked on (and I believe OBD1, but would have to open the FSM and I'm too lazy for that right now) has fed the alt field coil, the o2 heaters, the ECU, the injectors, and the ignition coil off the same fuse. Lose one you lose em all.

But I'm not really 'losing' anything... The only thing that happens is the fuel is leaned out to the point the motor starves and stalls.

I'd force it to rnu open loop by disconnecting the O2 sensors.

then see if it's the ECU leaning it out or a mechanical problem like fuel pump.

I remember that trip.

I got stuck and almost rolled, on level ground.

I had a massive migraine that night.

Oh....it rained hard one night and I did not have a covered trailer yet, or a top.

Rev

"how's that hat working for you now"

I believe is what cemented my wife in the club.

let's talk guns for a minute. there's a guy at work that has a Ruger LC 9 for sale and he's asking 300 dollars for it. What do you guys know about this gun?

You can get them brand new with a laser for $300, I went laserless and was out the door for $250. Offer him $200.

9mm is a large round for that little gun, make sure you get the mag extension or you will be trying to control that thing with 3 fingers instead of a full grip.

"oh, well that's not gonna happen" - him

"let me know when you need to sell it" - me

wal mart has announced that they will be open 2 hours after dinner time on thanksgiving...seriously...

that is a bunch of crap....i wish people were smart enough to just not show up, but the promise of a piece of crap led tv thats really only worth the stupidly discounted price they are charging will have them beating down the doors...christmas starts after thanksgiving in this house

Speaking of crappy lcd tvs, my 32" I have in the bedroom went to crap the other day. It's a Samsung and only 4 years old, the picture is worse than the tvs we had in the 70's.

Not happy.

Drove the station's truck the tonight and last night as I was taking photos at some high school bball games. It is a Mitsubishi truck (Dodge Dakota). I got to say, the pick up the engine has is nice. The one down side is the 4wd switch is hidden so all you see is the knob and not the lettering in which mode you are in.
