Important

well...to add to my awesome luck this week, yesterday i managed to smash/gash the bejeezus out of my pointer finger on my left hand. i probably should have had it stitched, but its nothing some steri strips cant fix. hurts like heck though and makes typing a little tricky
For infections sake, you may want to hold off on the backdoor knuckle buster.....

ive heard about that but have never tried it
Yup, it works. I've had it professionally applied to a fingertip, worked pretty well. Stings a bit, part of the compound does have a disinfectant quality.

However, it it hasn't been stitched or sealed by now, don't. I've been told by 2 separate ER/UC docs that small wounds (less than a dozen stitches or so) that aren't sealed shut in the first several hours are better off being left open to heal, rather than stitching up 12 hours after.

yeah thats kind of what i figured...i smashed the flesh around it pretty good, so the cut itself doesnt look too bad. its really not that wide, just tore through a few layers when it happened. i cant see any bone in there, so it must not be too bad

I'll ask and let you know.

I just talked with her and She said the 9mm is going fast. Seems like the 9mm is the most requests they have.

At least 1k of the 9 are earmarked for me :)

I could use some 7.62x54!

Super glue......

I sliced my thumb on a knife filler off the hull of a boat. I definitely should have gotten stitches, but I super glued it over and over for probably a week and a half and it healed right up. Just be sure not to use the gel stuff. It doesn't work as well, which is why it took so long to heal.

Depends on the wound area, but there is a time limit. They won't even attempt to stitch you at the ER if it's been that long.

Amber and I got our house loan through First financial in Sullivan. Soon as the paperwork went through it got sold to Chase. I havent had the loan long enough to have any complaints.

So much for staying local. My girlfriend has First, but I don't. I just never had a reason to switch to them. I am with TErre Haute Saving Bank. I also have a savings account at a credit union that has no money in it currently (I get to start to replenish it this week).

200rds down range out of the new M&P. Not a bad shooting gun, I think I'm going to like it. The thing I didn't like was the occasional hot brass bouncing off my nose. I'd have some pics but my android based G2 is being amish. Shot about the same groups as I shot with my buddies XD 9mm sub compact. I even let my son shoot a few rounds. Had to tell him I would have to break his finger if I saw it in the trigger guard before the gun was pointed down range and ready to fire.

Plus, Josh is fun to mess with. He's from southern canada, so it's easy
There's no need for name calling!! I'm from Indiana! Hoosier for life!
Interesting little opportunity that I just had handed to me…

So, I told her I’m looking for .380, .38 and lots of 9mm. I also told her I have some buddies who would be interested in .40, .45 and .357. I’m waiting for them to finish doing the inventory so we can see just how massive this stash is.

Christmas is going to be early this year.

My missus isn’t too happy about that. Not much $’s available for ‘that’. I said “but what about the pending zombie attack?!?”

No comment after that :laugh3:
Interested in .40 if it's convenient.
no self respecting old man preparing for the apocalypse would shoot those commie calibers....
Meganne's dad has a 91/30. Bought it because he wanted a gun and wanted to go cheap. He's one of those older guys that's all about making sure he best represents himself as a proud American. He won't even buy a Ruger that looks like the old Lugers, but he buys 9mm rounds that say "Luger" on the box... :D
I was just unloading my McTruck and I sneezed, cracking my back so violently that at first I started to worry. I feel great now.
That's pretty common for me. I crack my back probably 25% of the time when I sneeze. Scared me the first time too.
