my condolences.

All my shit is back from the office and I don't intend to ever go back there again unless it's for a weekend of bar hopping or something.

Let me know if you ever end up in the mass/nh/ct/ri area though - there are often semi informal NAXJA meet/greets and trail runs up here.
 
i think i would love to go back up to mass someday when i'm on the east side of the country...i spent 2 summers in stockbridge, it was awesome. we used to take my xj and my buddies wj up on some trails on october mountain. they had a little terrain park there at one time. its mostly atv trails, but i was able to get on some (legally) in my xj. plus you can catch fish on the lake on top of the mountain ALL DAY LONG every other cast. they are little, but man its fun
 
Sitting in my office cube at 9:00 PM on a Friday night... what's wrong with this picture?

I've been swearing profusely at a large server (16 CPUs, 208GB of RAM) that's been crashing for a week, with absolutely no indications of what's wrong. Finally, the crash 3 hours ago may have coughed up footprints of what's going on. I might actually have it up and running around 1:00 AM.

Somebody go and hoist a beer for me.

done deal, bout 13 hoisted for you & my chitty day. Hope tomorrow brings better times bro.
 
Flex. On the pinion nut. Locate a spot on the end of the pinion sticking out. Put a paint dot on it towards the outer edge of it, directly next to it put a paint dot on top part of the nut. count the threads between the two paint dots. Example 3. Yank the nut and washer. Tap the old flange off. Install the new one. Put some silicone on the flat part of the washer. slip it on. put the nut on with locktite. spin it on til you get your three threads showing and the two dots line up. You can go just a hair past the two dots. Large pair of channel locks work good for holding the flange.

Thats how Ive done them and never had a problem yet.

It's the only way i can get onto NAXJA at work lol. Have to google search a specific thread and it will let me in. Our tech guy is to dumb to notcie anything though.

I can go on and on all day on what I would buy if I won the BIG munay, but I'll let you all in on a fantasy build I've had in my head for a while...Right side drive XJ, stock suspension, portals, big meaty tires. Done.

id pay for college.
not stress about finishing college.
actually finish college.

go to some place like fiji, bali, or tahiti and get way too much sun and drink way too much.

after that id probably start working again or volunteer or something. ironically, in one of my class we showed that, statistically, those who win a large sum of money have quit their jobs and are unhappy within the first year.

alas, i didnt buy any tickets as i am broke. "cant win if you dont play."
 
Build a buggy, finish Jeep, buy truck, WHEEL......... then start a fab shop and hire Gene as my fab guy! :D

put most in savings accounts that have high interest, move out the ghetto,college funds for the boys, invest in big oil company,buy the ol lady a srt grand cherokee, daily drive a 12 f350 6.7 quad cab and a fast ass mustang. id still work.

Just spent $10 of it for our plane tickets to Hawaii next year :thumbup:
