I spent the day pulling downed limbs in the orchards today, so that the harvesters can get through starting on Tuesday. Not as hot as it was on the west side of Lake Michigan, but still very easy to get heat stroke.

Last night's thunderstorms wreaked havoc on one of my brother's orchards. 6 of us spend 12 hours pulling out downed limbs & trees. Probably a quarter to a third of the trees have fractured, many of them whole trees down. He figures he's already lost 75 tons of fruit in that block alone.

Clear hose is the best (don't want to inhale the gas), this is how I get lawnmower gas out of my weekend/2-3times a year wheeler......
