Nice, any pics of it actually wheeling?

I didn't get any good ones. I love my android but after having it for a year I have so many apps that using anything will drain the batteries in a hurry. I'm looking forward to the DVD and hopefully the park shows well.

I had to get stuff set up as they went out so I didn't get any of the first part of the day. The first part of the day ended up being some awesome trails but not our best due to a couple thunderstorm that coated all our trails with a nice thick layer of Crisco.

The middle part of the day when I was there there was a lot of carnage so there wasn't a whole lot of good action shots. And then I had to go back to the office to get stuff going for dinner so I missed the other great trails.

Just glad I got to be there for it. All of them are great guys and it was really cool getting to meet some of the people you've seen on the 4x shows and read for years.

Its not bad, it just means its time to start building a stroker for when It lets go on you! :D

its on the wifes WJ so i am gonna go over to the shitty lil grand forum i am on and research swaps, if a V8 isn't an easy swap then a stroker might be a option either way the 4.0 in a dub j brings the suck and this thing needs mo power

Yeah, a stroker would probably be the best option for it.

if you want to do the v8 swap plan on buying a donor vehicle to accomplish it.

Yea, the 4.0 is a dog in a WJ. But changing a head gasket or swapping a new head on should easily be a weekend job. It's hard to justify doing anything else when you could take a free weekend and just get it fixed.

... and then you can sell it and buy a V8 WJ. Though it doesn't seem that the 4.7s hold up all that well either.

This one does! :dunno:

215k miles. Water pump changed and of course tune ups. No engine replacement and no transmission replacement either! He does not baby it either. It just has a bent shaft(giggity), hence why you're selling im D44a shafts!

Yea i will probably just be doing the head job (hehe) cause we still owe half a cht ton of money on this thing, and looking into the stroker and motor swaps i will be swimming in debt :D

every person that I've known with a V8 grand ends up replacing a transmission at some point.

Ah Nate you could say that about any piece of junk vehicle out there...

My dad had a 96 ZJ that I bought from him then sold, 5.2 v-8 over 215k when we sold it, I know who owns it and its over 225k now with original motor and trans.

He currently has an 01 4.7 WJ with 115k. So far so good.

Rosco and his wife have a 98 ZJ 5.9 v8 with 180k all original...and if you know him you know it hasn't had the easiest life...

mac 'I could go on...' gyvr
