I'm trying not to be upset

My jeep is testing my patience in a huge way. I posted over on the Original Tech forum for help as to why my jeep keeps blowing relays. Any advice would be appreciated. I'm scheduled to take it up to Bumblebee's garage this weekend and let him look at it. He's been following the problem but even he's not sure what to do. The dealer sure doesn't know. They are friends of mine and are very good to me, but heck, I just want the darn thing fixed so I can start enjoying it. It's been months since the axle swap and I really have yet to wheel it properly.

Which relays are blowing? I have a wiring diagram of the main harness that I could send you if that would help.

I just went through this a couple of months ago; I feel your pain.

It's usually the starter relay, but sometimes the AC clutch relay goes, and once the fuel pump relay went. The whole story I posted on the OEM board.

Guess I'll hit Harry's U-pull it and also a local Cherokee junkyard and scrape up any spare parts I can, the wiring harness, relays, whatever. Need to put together some spare parts for trips to VA and Tellico later this year anyway.

Have you considered a bad computer? I asked a mechanic friend, he suggested that is often the problem when random things occur like that.

Lynn,

I frequent harry's u pullit. To my knowledge there's only one or two '96s up there, and most picked pretty clean(I took the booster out of one). You could go and check. The one's green if it's still up there, and the other is red. Both with out engines.
