I'm done with Doug Thorley headers

Jumping in on your thread ,I have a 91 XJ are those pretty good headers for Jeeps? My roommate said they looked like they weren't stockthat they were beefy looking....

I have had the same issues. Fortunately I don't have money I vested just time since I managed to pick one up for a little over 300 before the redesign and live only 20 minutes away. The header cracked and the replaced it with the newer design. The welds blew out due to the wrong filler. Then it took 4 months before they had a replacement in Stock. The coating started flaking off right away. I still have the adapter they gave me and never thought to ask for a 2.5 one. Just spent 80 bucks for a 2.5 flange mount and downpipe at the local exhaust shop.
