Illinois I-PASS?

Strange question, but does anybody have any idea what type of velcro the I-PASS transmitters come with? It was like a hard plastic type deal.....but it was also velcro, kind of odd......

Dad had his window replaced so I tried some regular velcro but it's pretty crappy.....

Something else to consider, one of the I-Pass suction cup pockets.

Where can I get more velcro (dual locking strips)?

Velcro is now available at the following locations:
  • Mobil fuel stations at all seven oases locations
  • From toll collectors in toll booths
  • The Tollway Customer Care Center in Downers Grove
  • The Mobile I-PASS team which visits each oasis on this schedule:
    • Monday - Des Plaines 10-3
    • Tuesday - DeKalb 10-2, Belvidere 10-4
    • Wednesday - O'Hare 10-4
    • Thursday - Hinsdale 10-3
    • Friday - Lake Forest 11-3

Transponder you stick on your windshield that automatically deducts tolls, so you don't have to wait at toll booths or pay the cash rate which is double the I-pass rate. Bug a boo is they keep what amounts to a $50 deposit if you have them automatically recharge your account using a credit card.

Something else to remember...... I-PASS is now accepted on most of the tollways on the East Coast (list is on the website.)

If you're towing a trailer, you want an EZ-Pass instead.
