Idle chit chat formerly knows as eh

HVAC...No biggie, i knew it was coming...Sales are way down from last year...Last year at this time we sold almost 200 thousand, that would be 1/1/08 thru 1/28/08..This year to date, we are at 10 grand..I feel sorry for my boss...They say it will get better..Wait an see i guess

Well we been doing great. We are a pretty big HVAC install and service company though. The montage in Beverly hills and the carlyle carried us thru last year, this year we have LA Live Cinema's and a few other really large design centers. then service..

WHat did you do there. We might have a position avail.
 
Damnit, my Accord has a massive bulge in the sidewall.

Bridgestone just told me that an OE tire is not warrantied by them. I'm past my bumper to bumper on the car. Time to swallow $140 for a new one.

Well at least your boss sounds cool. Our company just laid off 25 of the supervisors and hired 40 or so laborers for the mulch and sod yards

What company do you work for? I work for Carrier in Ontario.

I have been with this guy for like 15 years..I do it all..Last couple of years i just do service, as i get older it gets harder to do installs..I do train the guys from time to time if needed....I started out doing swamp coolers, hell i still do them..We are a small shop out here, only have 8 trucks...
Thank you for the offer, but i'll wait..This guy is a great person to work for..
 
Everyone that comes in here has said they've been slow lately, which makes it slow for us. Good thing is I can clean up the warehouse and move things around though.
 
Wow, Scott--that sux. The upside is it seems like you're not financially panicked, and have a great employer!

Panic.. Why, it doesn't help..LOL .. He is a great guy..But i feel like everybody else, knew it was coming..We have some young guys that will have a hard time..Now the down side, i have time to work on the jeep..:laugh:
Just don't have the spare cash....LMAO..

Well, I just got a radiator, water pump and maybe hood vents. If you need something to occupy your time, let me know.
 
Chit, the word is out, i got side jobs already.. People that live is small towns like palm spring talk way to much..:dunno:
I'll tell you what, you send all the parts to my place, then i will install an take pics of how they look in my jeep:idea:
