i will survive

I'm casted on my left arm and a removable boot cast on my right foot, and a deep muscle bruise om my lwr rt back. Other than that i couldn't be better. I had a blast this weekend and i finally was able and did conquer Pick Your Poison. So i think i have the rights to say i am the first XJ in NAC to conquer it.

If anyone has pics and video i want copies.

STROKER a.k.a. BENRUNDOVER

P.S. I couldn't have been in better hands Thanks to all the EMT's, Gina, Tim, Bob, Gary, Jennifer(for the cold packs), and to all that gave me a hand.

P.S.S. Thanks to PeterBuilt for the spotting on PYP. Thanks bro, and give a big hand to Mitch for getting thru PYP very well with open diffs.

Come on, Mitch has a trash lock in the back. If he didn't have that, he would've never made it thorough. J/k...might as well call it an open diff. hope you feel better soon Ben. I just noticed on the way home....my pass side axle control arm mount was almsot ripped off, not sure where it happened...but it held up. I had a great time this weekend. later guys -Nick

Ben,I too am glad all is OK.Speedbump is kinda funny. You had to be hurting Sunday morning, waking up without the drugs killing the pain yet!!I thought for a second you were going to go with us!!It was a wise idea not to.I couldn't of done PYP without the great spotting, thanx to Ben,Nick,Pete and everyone one else.Nick,I made it home in record time.I dont kow how fast we were going,my speedo said 75 most of the time.I had a great time and I will have a rear locker and 4.10 gears next!!!Oh yeah...Mark+Beer=Comedy

Ben, what exactly happened to you. I feel left out since I had to miss everything because I was busy repairing while I should have been wheeling. Sounds like it hurt though.

Ben,did you finally get all that grease off? Did your mom flip? Glad to hear you are doing okay. I'm sure you are going to do a lot of hopping. I have your other crutch if you need it.

Gary.

Glad you got home with that left foot, and whatever arm wasnt broke. But the question is, Are you going to have trouble with the STROKing? jk And i felt bad so i gave you your request and i broke something for you on sunday. Arnt you happy  And maby ill stop bye one of these days after school and we can measure up your steering and trac bar. to get the angles right. Me and Tim were going to swap out his rear pinion yoke because he broke a u-joint centering tab, so i was underneath the gas tank end and tim pulled the rear shaft and we found out the E-brake didn't work and i got caught under his truck and folded, spit out the front from under the axle. Thats about all i remeber, oh and letting out a horrific scream, ask bob lester 'bout that, I think the scream is still ringing in his head.

Ben, Glad to hear that you are doing well. Sorry I had to miss out on the wheeling sunday but the "critters" at home required my attention. See ya on the trails another day.

Wow that must have been a kick in the pants. Glad to know you're okay like the rest of the guys said. I had to know what happened before I offer the condolences to your bones and joints  , after all maybe you tried doing a triple flip off a tree backwards. We'll have to go sometime late august. Let me get one last kick in with you NAC guys before I head off for the military.

Tough guy!

What does not kill us only makes us stronger, eh, Ben? In light of your mishap, I've become very safety consious... we cabled Pete's Jeep to a tree on Sunday before attempting to replace the rear driver side axle shaft. If I become an annoying safety nazi, so be it. Nothing like this should ever happen again.

90% of us didn't even have a license when this thread was started.
I wasn't even in High school yet, let alone having a license.

I read the first few posts and was like "holy crap, what happened?" Then I saw the date and realized everyone was alright, and interested to see who revived the thread.

I lived on Kwajalein still. I was 14 or 15.

Duude you better not kill yourself i can't lose my spooning buddy :kissyou:

haha you dont have to feel so bad, I was fresh out of college in 2002 with aspiring dreams to be a porn star.
