Who would be interested in being a part of this? I was thinking about calling it "Ohio Valley Trail Riders" - I guess it would be primarily an XJ club but anyone interested in wheeling Wellsville and some other local trails on a regular basis from around Western PA and Eastern Ohio can take part. I can organize everything, I'm a graphic designer so I can make window stickers and get a contact sheet together with everybodys info. If so, email me at [email protected]

I am interested in it. I live in upstate NY (syracuse area) but I am always up for a road trip and making new friends. Let me know whats up. I got a buddy who is also interested.

I'm interested as well. I live in upstate New York too (Ithaca), but I have family in Cleveland and I'm in that area several times a year.

would you consider someone from around 45 miles south of maysville, ky?

I wouldn't think that any club would exclude you due to location. If you're willing to make the drive to the trails/events, then you're pretty much in.

We've had a few folks move away from our area that are still club members - we still meet up with them when we're in their neighborhood, and they still come to events when they're close by.

barillms, any progress?

works for me, although I might end up showing up for meetings in my Freightliner. and yes, I WILL wheel it, if some body would be willing to help wash it afterwards(joking).

You got a Freightliner too?! Mine has 44s! It doesnt flex that good, but it has tons of power. I'm joking too... on a more serious note, my XJ has crapped out so I won't be wheeling for awhile. I should have another one built up by April so I can be back on the trails and we can work something out then. Thanks! -Marc B.

If you don't mind a complete offroad newb being part of the club, then I'd be interested. I'm from Cleveland, and just picked up a 1994 XJ 2dr Sport. It was my aunt's that she bought new in 94. It's bone stock (with 157k miles), but I'm looking to upgrade it a bit to make it a little more trail-worthy.

I've got a few friends that have jeeps and frequent the wellsville area on occasion. One of my friends has a pretty built MJ, and the other has a '48 Willys they wheel with.

I've been lurking for a while, and will continue to do so. I've been a member of several other boards (mainly motorcycle-related), so I'm pretty well versed on board etiquette and will try to avoid the newb type questions.
