I think I've lost my mind.................well, more so than normal......

ya, I started losing weight last year. I have lost about 30 pounds and all I did was stop eating fast food everyday and cut-back on my sodium intake.

I actually did sort of a personal study...I ate like crap for 6 months, BUT worked out everyday I would run two miles in the morning and lift weights at night. I actually got fatter because I was just eating fast food and energy drinks, I could run like a bastard though, hahaha. Now I have just about cut out my fast food intake (still eat it on occassion), if I'm going to drink soda its diet, and every once in a while an energy drink. I eat lots of fruit now instead of an entire bag of potato chips. It really seems to help.

GOOD LUCK!!! It actually feels good being healthy suprisingly

I was at 190 now I'm down to 155lbs

5'11" Currently around 245lbs. I could afford to lose some but I haven't gotten around to it yet.....beer is good.

I lost over 100lbs so I could join the Coast Guard. Took me two years but it was worth it and the ladies haven't complained one bit :)

hahahahaha, you could try but as a professional fat guy, I reeeeeally don't recommend it:cheers:

Planning on doing that even more, reducing the Coca-Cola even more, not lift as heavy as I have been, and forcing myself to do some more cardio.........while taking my rc crawlers out to play too.

just to help ya out, but muscle burns more calories.
do a good weight work out, after your done then do a good cardio workout, 30min jog, elliptical, bike, etc... but do it after the weights. Your body will be able to still do a good cardio workout after the weights, as opposed to cardio first.
if you go at the weights hard, with only about 45-90seconds rest between sets so you can work up a good sweat, you'll end up burning more calories then cardio alone.

either way, as was said a few times, watching what you eat is the easiest and best improvement for weight loss.

good luck

Yea but he had better be careful, if he wants to drop the weight. Muscle weighs more than fat. A lot of people can stay the same size and replace the fat with muscle and not be any happier.

My buddy picked up cycling with me a little over a year ago, along with a change in diet. He dropped sodas and fast food, and makes a conscious decision at every meal. He went from this picture from our annual fishing trip:

I don't have a problem with gaining more muscle, infact that is probably were most if not all my weight gain has come from the past couple years. I've already started to cut calories, reduce the amount of Coke I drink (from 3 a day to 1 after work!), increase the amount of water and tea I drink (and how many times I have to pee:rolleyes:) and acutally use a tread mill at the gym (only for 10 minutes, but condidering how much I hate walking nowhere, it's a start.)

haha that sucks man, I had a flu (not sure which one) last week and was out sick tuesday-friday. I have to say, the coughing destroyed my appetite though... didn't get it bad enough to be vomiting but I didn't feel like eating at all.

"reduce the amount of Coke I drink (from 3 a day to 1 after work!)"

That's cool. It's little changes like this that add up over time. A coke has like 60 grams of sugar in 1 bottle. Drinking just one instead of three cuts 120 grams of sugar out of your diet everyday. Over a year, that's 43,800 grams of sugar! This is not exact of course, but you can see how it works.

Through high school i was about 120-130 at 5'7" now im still 5'7" and about 155...some muscle...at least when i was going to the gym now bout half beer wieght.....damn you 21st bday!

Just think man puking is free weight loss plus it work out those abs!

:D

Dysentery gives you a much faster weight loss, about 20lbs a week. Downside is your arsehole feels like an open manhole cover...
