I swear, my jeep is messing with me

it seems to be leaking out of where the lower rad hose meets the radiator, but like i said, only when the truck is warming up (i typically notice the leak after about 3 minutes of running, after sitting all night)

I have seen overflow bottles crack, and depending on where the overflow hose enters/connects--those that connect to a nipple on the bottom of the bottle the hose gets old and is loose, a small clamp will take care of that.

I would get out there when the engine is cold and tighten all of your hoseclamps--don't try and go Hercules on them, just make sure they are tight. See if that helps.

Also, do you know how old the radiator cap is? If it isn't holding pressure then the system isn't being "challenged" when warmed.

im going to go ahead and tighten down all the clamps when warm. the radiator cap is probably 4 or 5 months old so its fine. i bought a new thermo, gasket and some rtv housing sealant. hopefully after all that it will be fixed. ill check back with results

If you tighten the clamps when things are cold--in contraction--you will get a tighter seal, and that is something that walruses and Tupperware are always looking for.
