i need alittle advise

so im trying to avoid issues with registering and selling my jeep in Texas. i want to believe that all i need is a signed title and bill of sales, which is all i need in Georgia to sell it. doesn anybody know what i do need ot take a vehicles from Georgia and register or sell it in Texas?

I believe just the title and bill of sale. Thats all I needed to hand over with my civic(registered in New Hampshire) to get my XJ.

There is a form that needs to be filled out and signed by both partys that you get from the DMV. That form and the title need to be taken to the DMV to get the title transfered. I think you have 30 days from the date of sale to get it submitted. I just got hit with a late fee because I did'nt know about the extra form when I bought my truck.

hmm well i dont want to register it in my name then sell it. i might just sell it here cause i dont have a buyer for it in Texas

You also have to have proof of insurance to register in Texas, as well as that damned little paper!!!
