I have decided I hate Capt. Ron....

I used to like most any average beer. Was realy into Mexican brews for many years...then Ron makes a comment about mexibrews and hands me a Sierra Nevada.
Ever since I have been into mostly Fat Tire and some Pale Ale.
But I open the frige today, and I didn't restock after I had my last one.
All there was was some Corona....and for some reason it just doesn't do it
for me anymore...

I hate Ron!!



How long does it take to chill a room temp Fat Tire anyway (its in the Freezer!)

Corona is pure crap. I tend to agree with the Corona review on www.topb.com (it likens it to ball sweat).

There are many fine brews available at most grocery stores on the West Coast so there is no reason for you to continue drinking Mexican piss beer. Venture out from your comfort zone and try something from the Mendocino Brewing Company, Pyramid Brewing Company, or better yet, the Deschutes Brewery.

Drop the cerveza and enjoy a well crafted IPA, medium bodied pale ale, or if you dare, indulge in a porter or stout.

Mexican beers are just a "gateway beer" for the ales. I prefer a red ale or smooth stout now days, although pacifico was my first beer purchas and I swore by it for quite some time.

I have to say, my favorite is an ice cold Pacifico with some lime. To me, that is the good stuff.

Stone IPA was recommended to me by a sales dude at our new Rocklin Total Wine. I found a new love. If you are into hoppy IPAs, Stone is incredible. Good on you, San Diego!
