I found the next vehicle to make it big just as the XJ did. What i mean by that. is that it went from grocery getter to 4x4 machine after some mods. Its a vrey common SUV too. Brand new in '04 they started out at a little over 30K for the highest luxury package, and 4wd. they ranged in price from 17k up to about 35k.
-Body-on-frame construction
-3,497 cc 3.5 liters V 6 front engine with 93 mm bore, 85.8 mm stroke, 10 compression ratio, double overhead cam and four valves per cylinder
-Unleaded fuel 87
-Fuel economy EPA highway (mpg): 20 and EPA city (mpg): 15
-Multi-point injection fuel system
-21.1 gallon main unleaded fuel tank
-Power: 143 kW , 192 HP SAE @ 5,500 rpm; 217 ft lb , 294 Nm @ 3,000 rpm
-4.666:1 axle ratio
-Four disc brakes including four ventilated discs
-Limited slip differential
-Fullsize alloy rim under body spare wheel
-Solid rear axle (toyota 8''), Coil spring w/ 4 link.
The only bad -
-Wishbone front suspension independent with stabilizer bar and coil springs
