hey congrats man,
to be honest with you my propsal was almost fubared by the unexpected wife to be when i did it too... my story goes, we go for a hike up to the chimney tops in gatlinburg (smoky mtns) and got to very top when there is a mild rock climb to get up and over the top for the good look out over the mtns... well she got really scared going up and over decided to go back down, i convinced her to go around the side and do the longer but a bit easier climb and finally got her up there and she sat there scared and tired and i got down as far as i could (its hard to kneel when sitting on jagged rocks... and of course she said yes very taken aback... would have sucked BIG time (i think anyways) if we hadnt made it to the top lookout... atleast you still got to do it out under the stars and surprise her! *cheers*

Congrats man!! Me and my old lady will be married 9 years in Nov. We have our ups and downs but cant pic my life without her. (Who would do my laundry! LOL) Seriously, all the best to you both.

YJ - that's pretty funny. Sometimes the women do things that are unexpected. Like, not getting out of the car for some small reason. Of course it happens during important times.

Congratulations, the wife and i have had 4 great years and just had our first kid (4 mo old boy!). That is a hilarious proposal story, you will get a kick out of it when you are old and gray. I wish you and her the best.
as for the wedding itself, it got complicated quickly for my wife and i too, quickly decided to get the license, hire a photographer and a priest, and went out on the beach in the outerbanks here in NC and had the ceremony there for less than $500
saved a lot of headaches (and cash!).

Congrats!! It will be six years for the wife and me in October, and I will not be here for the anniversary (again). We were riding in her WJ the other day and she said " do you notice that we get along better than we used to??" I just had to laugh, seems like yesterday we were starting out!! Good Luck to you both, and that legality thing with the sammich, it won't last long!!!!!!:gee:

congrats brotha! welcome to the dark side! i'll be getting married this october myself! woot! the wedding is 90% of my reason behind not being able to afford to do much to my jeeps right now. i don't make a whole lot of money, so even a modest wedding kinda taps me dry. i think her parents are actually gonna contribute more than i thought, though...

Congrats! My wife and I will be married 4 years Oct 1st and we are expecting our baby girl Oct5th. Marriage is exactly what you make of it. I wouldn't change a thing.
