Well today I bought ANOTHER XJ making it #3. I decided though to make this one the "donor" for the first two. The daily driver needs a windshield, RR electric window motor and other small odds and ends....even door locks. While the off road only version needed an alternator (the "new buy" had a new alternator!), grill, and it needs front and rear brakes, power booster and master cylinder...all of which it will get from the newbie. In the end I'll have a spare engine and trans plus fenders, doors, windows and quarter panels. Basically when I am done stripping the poor donor I won't be getting much from the scrap yard for whats left.
This thing runs great, and I paid $300 for it, one of those deals you can't pass up.
For the moment I now have:
1992 the daily driver
1987 the off roader
1989 the $300 donor
