Hypertech problems

Just reprogrammed my PCM with the Hypertech controller. Now I have a problem with the jeep not wanting to start or idle. I have to press the accelerator to get it to start, and hold it to keep it idling. It is acting like the PCM is not controlling the IAC (Idle Air Controller). Has anyone else had this problem? I used the 93 octane callibration.

It has 93 octane fuel in it. I've had a Jet stage II chip in it for years that requires 93.

I was disappointed with the controller because it did not allow me to adjust my speedometer or transmission shift points, and has not shown any improvments over the Jet chip I had in before. I am actually getting worse mileage, and now have the starting problem.

I would give hypertech a call before I took it back, just to see if they have had any similar problems with other programmers. on ther online charts they show speedo calibration and tranny shift point as N/A. on the 99to 04 4.0 I6 .

maybe the chip and the controller are not compatible???
