hubs

Hi, I just finished swapping a HP D30 from a 95 into my 2000 XJ. My question is whether or not my hubs/axles from my 00 will fit into my 95.

'95 was the transition year; which axle u-joints did it have? You've got the 297-x joints in the '00 and I don't recall any other fitment issues between those years (brakes, etc).

The 95 axle had ABS brakes (which my 00 did not), so they had 297X u-joints. The brakes are totally different. I thought for sure someone on here had pulled shafts and hubs from a later model to put in their earlier XJ....or at least tried it and failed.

I swapped out my 2K D30 for a 97 HPD30. As far as axle/hub, they fit fine although I did upgrade to chromoloy axles and 497x joints as well as locking hubs.
