Man if book were written it sure would have saved me a lot of problems.
Wouldn't it would be great if this site could have a section devoted to "instructions" for certian tasks. Just think how many fewer searches you would have to do. I love this site and have learned a lot, but everything I have learned has come at the expence of countless hours of searching and starting new threads (I worry about wearing out my welcome).
If someone had the basic steps for lifting to 3in, 4.5in 6in, etc that would be awesome. I don't mean every step for installing "shocks", but just "install longer shocks" "check driveline angles" "modify break lines" etc.
Then list some potential problem associated with lifting to a given height. I know you couldn't list everthing that could go wrong, but you could put up a list of posibitlites then people might be able to head off potential problems. I think I have wrecked a few expensive parts just because I didn't know that certian things had to be done during the lifting process.
There are definately some very knowledgable people on this site and I am greatful for their time and willingness to share. Wouldn't it be great if we had a section with their "instructions" for use to review?
What do you think?
