How to edit

You can usually edit for about the first hour after you post it - then it's "committed."

You'll have an "edit" button down bottom while you are still able to edit. After that, you can ask a Mod to edit it for you. Doesn't guarantee it will be edited - but if you ask nicely, explain what you want changed to what and why it needs to happen, your odds will improve drastically.

The "board index page" (the one that lists all the boards) should also list moderators for each board.

I work on an Air Force Base, 45 minutes is 45 minutes. "About an hour" does not exist. I work with percise times, not rounded off ones. If I was asking the same question I'd want to know that exact time if someone knew it......................;)
I don't remember typing .af.mil at the end of NAXJA.

What Jon said, except it's 45 minutes........

Well, I knew it was somewhere around an hour, but I didn't know how far away from an hour it was.

And, since I'm a mod, I don't notice anymore - all of the posts on Tech boards have that little "Edit" button down bottom for me...;) :eeks1: :D

Most people tend to carry their job characteristics with them. Case in point, I gave him the percise time for his own information. Now go pound dirt..................:looser:

And some of us never change. "There is no such thing as useless information, just information you haven't figured out how to apply yet." I've filed that little factoid (45min) for future reference.

OK, so I push the edit button and another blank page shows up. Sooooo, I fill it in with what I really wanted to say, then I go back to check it out and I have 2 replies. The first one I didn't want and the edit. So, I try again, then I have 3 replies. What is really supposed to happen? Were did I go wrong?

Puleeze. No zulu no care.
I've done my Zulu time - nowadays I give local time on a 24-hour format to tell you that I'm done talking to my peeps...most of them understand and are kind enough to zip it. Some of the others just no comprende.
