We have enough iron there now...all it takes is a spark. Some say late March early April. It can happen anytime the Iranians directly threaten our army in Iraq.

It will happen IMMEDIATELY if we are attacked by terrorists here on U.S. soil. That is a Bush/Cheney promise.

The marine carrier Bataan arrived in the Persian Gulf joining Boxer, and the two Nimitz class carriers Stennis and Eisenhower. This makes the Iranians a wee more nervous.

With the third carrier arriving, the Nimitz, it's a fairly strong signal an attack is imminent.

If we strike Iran, I must say that would be the dumbest thing bush has ever done...yes i know that is saying a lot.

Never. There is no way we can wage a campaign against Iran at this time and they know it. Why do you think he is talking so much crap? Does anyone honestly believe we can launch a few surgical strikes like in the past and Iran will just sit back and take their slap on the hand. They will declare war because they know we have no way of winning Iraq and Iran at the same time in our weakened position. Iran is just taking the opportunity that we have given them to increase their political power in the region. Great!

Thats why if we bomb them we need to bomb them into oblivion.

This country has pussy-footed around with a group of people who like to fight.

We need to carry the bigger stick.

Politics won't allow that. Bush is already having a hard enough time trying to get the Iraq war supported by the other politicians. Unless they USE chemical/nuclear/biological weapons on us or the Isreali's, there is no possible way we would "wipe them off the map".

I don't disagree at all. That mutha is so far out there, it is SCARY! Like other posters have already said, we are in too deep with Iraq.
