how much slip??

I don't have a Sye currently and this is on a 94 stick. The slip on my driveshaft yoke is pushed up against my tcase. Its obviously wrong. How much of that slip do i want it to be out? 1 or 2 inches right? I have some shorter driveshafts that I can try. This is with 3 1/2" no shims and 33" tires. Thx

Yeah you want some showing. If the axle goes up and the shaft doesnt have anywhere to go, it might cause some problems... I think it only moves like an inch though... if that.

i had 2 inches showing after 3.5 inches of lift so im not sure whats going on with yours... but i'd get on that quick

ya i swapped pinion yokes and shafts a while back to get a length i desired before noticing i was bandaiding an incorrect fix. my centering pin broke and my axle slid back ward. so i swapped pinion yokes thinking i had a different shaft in there then come to realize my axle was slid back 2 inches. once i got that fixed now my shaft length was too short. i'm all fixered up now with the correct shaft, and pinion yoke but have some chewed up splines on the pinion.
