Custom avatars is a perquisite of a paid membership. There are "stock" avatars I believe you can use - but fork over if you want to use one of your own...:wave:

And for future reference (since I forgot to mention earlier,) if you have a perceived problem (or an actual problem!) with the site, you really want to post it in the User Support board - that's the one we really watch for trouble with the boards...

well i dont have ne problems with the board i just thought i wasnt doin something right when i was trying to use one of my pics as an avatar but thanks man

We did have, recently - but it wasn't us. Packets were being dropped (but I think Jeff & co. have that sorted now. I haven't noted any trouble this week.)
