How can you...

As a Democrat, I find it far less terrifying that McCain is President than Palin. As far as who is smarter/dumber...I don't know. All I know is Palin went to community college/University of Idaho and Obama Columbia/Harvard. That being said, there are plenty of smart people out there and there is no discounting the fact that it took Palin only 12 years to go from citycouncilwoman to VP candidate. Impressive by any standard.

It's the fact that she believes dinasours walked the earth only 4000 years ago, witches exist and posses people, and she had no idea what the Bush doctrine was. I knew that when I was in college 6 years ago. It replaced the much more intelligent Powell doctrine.

I've never put much stock in VP's, but in McCain's (and, maybe, Obama's depending on your outlook on life) case, it's something that has to be seriously looked at.

i wont be returning to this thread. its been attacked by the morons of the forum.

Its a shame he wont be back. I need clarification, was I a forum moron (before) this thread or is it just because I disagree with him in this thread. He seemed to like me yesterday.:dunno:

Umm, if you are refering to her answer when asked about the "Bush Doctrine" you do realise there are 4 different ones right? Each one supercedes the next and the latest was in 2005, so gibson trying to be smart was asking the wrong question...

I think it is great to laugh, makes me feel alive.

Now... Can I laugh at the fact that people are listening more to what the media is telling them than what the person said in the first place?

Apparently it does...

So you would rather have an unexperience, friends with anti-American terrorist, or anti-american rascist for President than have an unexperienced american for VP?
That is what they want.

in 2000 Gore was ahead of bush in october by 11%, and Bush ended up winning.

Survey Methods
For the Gallup Poll Daily tracking survey, Gallup is interviewing no fewer than 1,000 U.S. adults nationwide each day during 2008.
The general-election results are based on combined data from Oct. 6-8, 2008. For results based on this sample of 2,761 registered voters, the maximum margin of sampling error is ±2 percentage points.
Interviews are conducted with respondents on landline telephones (for respondents with a landline telephone) and cellular phones (for respondents who are cell phone only).
In addition to sampling error, question wording and practical difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error or bias into the findings of public opinion polls.

Because 2700 people are really a good indication of what is going on in the nation...
Stop calling me...:gee:
