How can I polish these gouges out of my wheels?

Have you tried to clean the crap off at least and then never dull them to see what the real damage is?

No, I haven't touched them yet. I'm still waiting for the regional manager from brake team to take a look at them and discuss compensation. He was supposed to call me today but of course he didn't....

How many wheels were damaged, I have only seen part of one. Also is it really noticable from normal vantage angles? Do these nicks make your off road vehicle looks like it isn't bound to a show room anymore?

All four were damaged about the same, only one is rusty. It isn't terribly noticeable if you're not looking for it, but I spent a lot of money for these wheels for one reason only: because they look nice. If I wanted something that looked like a beat up off road truck I would have kept the stock steel wheels. And it doesn't look like damage from use, it looks like damage from an idiot with power tools....

Go to a local body shop and ask if they use anyone for wheel refinishing. Cost about $50 per wheel however they will look brand new again.

Buy an aluminum wheel polishing kit from Eastwood or Caswell and go it. I have used the kit, it worked out real well. Read about Metal Polishing on their site or at Caswell.com. either place has quality products to buff and remove clear coat
Those washers do not look right to me either.
The rust was probably caused from when they used the air gun to remove the wheels, it blew metal dust (metallic pad or brake pad backer if they were metal to metal) on the wheels and caps which could oxidize overnight.

Had my brakes fixed last week, and the idiots ruined my aluminum wheels. I'm still discussing compensation with them, but regardless of what they do I'm going to want to polish them up myself. The area around each lug nut is gouged out, like they used too big of a socket. It looks deeper in person than it does in this pic. How should I go about polishing out a gouge like this?
