How and where is everyone mounting their iPods?

Why not leave the Ipod in the glove box?????? It is not like you control anything from it anyway when plugged to the Alpine! I have the Alpine too and just leave the Ipod in the glove box...........

Some models allow you to switch control to the more familial iPod controls, intended for passenger use. Unfortunately, after starting this thread I've discovered my model of Alpine receiver does not have this feature, banishing the iPod to the glove box... however, Jeep #2 will be getting one shortly.
