Houston This Weekend

As of today, 11 Dec 08, I'm supposed to be down in the Houston area this weekend. Anything fun, exciting, or at least interesting going on?

COR is having a day run out at Spring Creek on Sunday. Plenty of time for you to get back to your side of the world after.

You want any info on hotels in the area? Tell me what you are looking for and I should be able to help.

Never been to Spring Creek. I'm hoping to be in the FSJ, which is sitting on stock suspension with street treads.

Hotels....hhmmm...something not disgusting, but cheap. Preferably with internet access (I'll have my laptop).

the FSJ will do oke out there but I don't think you can follow us in most trails... XJ's barely get by some of the trees.

I will check out the hotels for you... but I am thinking Spring Logde on I-45 and Louetta. Close to where I live and close to the creek. Let me know when you will be here for sure (Fri or Sat) and I will show you where it is. Call me when you get more info.

LOL...Just how big do you think the FJS is? It's longer than the XJ's but other than not, there's only a few inches difference in any direction.

And thay few inches is the diffrence between body damage and none.

I understand that, but everyone seems to think that the FSJ is HUGE....it really isn't. If a ZJ will fit, so will the FSJ. All that we can do is try and find out, right?

Be careful when hanging out with midian, magi, and 6shooter.....

When I got there they were all in midian's back yard chanting "13....13...13..."

When I peaked thru the fence they poked me in the eye with a stick and started chanting "14....14.....14..."

I'm doing research on the SOA vs. suspension lift for the FSJ. SOA PARTS are cheaper, but with everything that has to be done, it looks like it might cost me about $400 more than the suspension lift.

You guys should tell that kid that hit me that I didn't make it home cuz my radiator blew.

Oh, and Magi...thanks for helping with the headlight adjustment. The signs above the highway were REAL easy to read. It was a little more difficult to see the road though. LOL

Did you re-adjust it after being hit?

Being hit on the driver's side surely didn't affect the passenger side...but I will say this, the two sides were adjusted at the same height, he did a good job at that.

They were still pointing down from the hood of the FSJ when we aligned them. I think when you got hit they moved a bit.

You get them pics and vids up yet. I need to add them to my collection...
