Hood Vents

I have a set with drip pans ready for paint and install; good condition, all mounting studs and drip pans. i bought them, but then went with a new hood with cowl. Look at "gojeep's" website for these Pontiac vents and their funtion. Email me @ [email protected] for details, price and purchase. I have to dig them out of a box in the garage.

I’m looking at buying the Chrysler LeBaron / New Yorker Hood Vents.

Just put some thin washers as spacers on the hood hinges AND remove he weatherstripping on the side that does NOT have the air intake for HVAC.

In fact, start with the latter. My hood was so hot I couldn't open it without gloves, summer or winter. Not now. In fact it tends to overcool in non-AC weather (I have a 195F thermostat). I'm going to remove spacers, now.

(If you are running too much tire with not enough gearing, or too much weight while 'wheeling, then try both before cutting hood).

Also, think I've seen your posts on CTD forums. Hard to beat a straight six, hey!
