Hood vents and Warrior Tube Doors

i bought a universal mirror for the driver side to keep it legal. i just haven't put it on yet and not 100 percent positive where i'm going to attach it.

Yeah you definitely need to adhere to your states laws. Technically you might not be legal anyways, I know alot of states laws say you can only remove doors from a vehicle that is intended to have removable doors from the factory (ie wranglers)

In Oregon, the only Mirror you legally need is a windshield mounted rear view, but not having side mirrors sucks!

I checked and I'm fine as long as I have a rear view mirror and driver side or both side view mirrors. I made sure before I took my doors off. California is strict on a lot of things but this not being one of them.

It's good you checked. Alot of times we get angry customers calling because they never bothered to check their local laws on door removal/mirrors. General rule of thumb is to check your local laws before doing any type of vehicle modification.

I just have to say I love my tube doors. You guys really made a good quality item. I will admit having to change the stryker everytime you put them on kinda sucks, so the new handle would be great.

Those bestop latches are cool, but no way am i changing out the pins every time, i'm goin to use somthing like this.

fits a .38 pin! i just micd my stryker at .381, so it ought to work. i have no idea on pricing though.

cornflake, put the mirror or the door! i almost put a mirror on my fender, but then i fealized how retarded my jeep would look with two mirrors with the doors on.

I thought about selling the doors that I make. I was going to ask in the range of what they want for the Warrior Products Doors. I was going to make it so you can order what you want on the doors from side mirrors, latches like on the orange XJ's, to speaker inclosures. THe price will differ to depending on what you want on the doors. They are made form 1.75" x .120 wall EREW. The latches fit perfectly with the striker pin that is on your XJ so no pin changing which will make it take less time to change your doors. I will also offer rear doors. Here are a few pictures of what I have built for myself and others. I would probably build them in sets of five at a time to save on cost. I need to see if there is enough interest in going forward with this idea.

Here's a few pictures of the sets I build.

i did change my pins, but i didn't need too on my '89 either. the fact is it took me 20 seconds each side so it didn't hurt to do. i figured they sent them to me, i'd use them. those are good looking doors on the orange xj too.
