Just another minion!
118* out in Borrego Springs today.....I'm sure glad my Cherokee has one monster radiator and a kick butt AC unit!!
(didn't I read about some dumb @ss wanting to head on out to the desert to do some wheelin' in a couple of weeks??)
Rick R :sunshine:

nearly 100 here in Flagstaff, AZ normal for this time of year is around 85 of course I am in the process an axle swap putside of course......

Somewhere north of 90* up here - hotter than the hinges of Hell, y'ask me. (Stipuated - to me, anything north of 50* is hot - but I'm a cold-weather critter...)

Think there might be something to the whole "global warming" nonsense after all - or is the weather recently a bit fluky?

Rick,
If I'm not mistaken there has been more than just one.:dunno:

Well it's quarter to six and the thermometer on the covered patio says 100*. It prolly didn't get no warmer than 105* at the most around here today. Beats the snot out of dealing with 118*, I don't care who y'are.

Boy and I was getting all whiney about 102. Still rather have that than 95 and 100% humidity.
Mark

I moved from Chicago because of the humidity in the summer and freezing temps in the winter. That and being a little over an hour from Fordyce and the Rubicon. :)

High temperature and low humidity isn't that bad, just try to find some shade and it makes a big difference, at least it feels that way.

Showed up on a job site this morning and the customer says her air conditioning is not working too well....GREAT!! :wierd:
But today (at least until about 3:00) wasn't as bad as yesterday.
Got called out on a water damage job....broken water line that flooded the house.....been wet for at least a week.....opened the door and I could swear that there was a thunder cloud forming in the living room!!
Smelled GREAT too!! :pig:
Oh well.....insurance jobs pay GREAT too!!
Stay cool my friends!!

Curt, we're thinking of a day run on the 23rd or 30th....got a couple of options so let me know how your rig is set up and if you'll be in our neck of the woods.
As for the Oct 1st Loose Screws tour........could be about 10 rigs, but this will prolly flux a little.......
