Holy Crap its Cold!

It's only as cold as you feel...cold is relative term. Cold to a polar bear or a penguin, as not the same as cold to you or I. Cold to someone near the equator is not the same as cold to someone in the Arctic or Antarctic. Cold to an Eskimo is not the same as cold to a native of Africa. Hot, and cold for that matter, are relative to your surroundings, your homeland or your tolerance. If you feel cold, someone else may not feel the same...
and remember, you can put on more clothes if you're cold, but it's hard to peel your skin off if you're too hot!

"If your car won't start in the garage when it's cold, take the bus!"

Oh, you'll see a difference... but for the record, the reason the PO of my rig installed the stroker I enjoy is due to a failed block heater that resulted in a cracked block. If I lived in Montana and had to deal with this kind of cold regularaly (without a garage), I'd probably run the risk, but since its only occasional in Colorado, I'd just buy an 850CCA+ battery if my rig was always outside...

Really? Faulty block heater cause a cracked block? Was the PO running straight water?

I don't know the details, but maybe adam will chime in... he's still around here, with a new rig in the works.
