Anyone want to go wheeling at Hollister on Saturday April 9th? Time for a little shakedown run before the big trips come around. I've had a bunch of issues that I *think* I have finally fixed but need to go prove out - I'd rather get towed home from Hollister than from Tahoe. I figure that we'll get down there around 10:30AM, play for a while, then cruise home.

I'm down as long as my tranny doesnt give out by then. Should be ok though because I just made it back from 4 days of wheeling in the Mojave Desert.

Hows the CPS deal?

I changed the CPS out for a new dealer unit and she seems good. I need this trip to prove it though. Also had a leaky pinion seal on my rear D44 that I changed out today. I think the old one was leaking due to watery/muddy diff oil that I ran a few miles and wiped out the seal. I took the opportunity to install a ubolt style yoke in replacement of the strap yoke when I installed the new seal. Ready to go try it all out.

Sounds fun, I'll try to make it. If I do I'll have to stick to some of the tamer stuff until I get my rear drive shaft sorted out (anyone know a good drive line shop? Or leave it until it gets a HnT).

south bay drivelines in san jose will fix you up in a jiffy. :yelclap:

We're still on for April 9th. I'm pretty sure there are available seats if people need rides. We'll figure it out later this week.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Hollister is closed on the 9th and 10th for a motorcycle race :(

Ouch - total closure of the 4x4 section on the 9th and 10th. This trip is off.
