Though I think Bill Richardson would have been a better choice. Here's more along my line of Democrat. Pretty conservative when it comes to gun control and domestic social policy.

From the little bit I've looked into Richardson (I don't do research if I don't need to!) I think I agree with you.

From the little I've read on Biden I don't much care for him, seems to be your typical knee-jerk politician. All over gun control, loves the Patriot act, etc.

IIRC 9/11 was an assasination attempt. The White house was one of the targets. It is a 20 year cycle, but not all attempts in history were succesful. Reagan survived as did some others through history.
