Hinge Pins....

Apparently my '84 had a different size pin in the hinge. Who knew? Anyone got a set of door hinges laying around? Anyone ever heard of this?

whats the deal... I mean, explain why you think this. The reason I ask is because in the body side of the hinge there is a bushing type thing that falls out easily after you mod the hinges for door removal.

I built a half door a few years ago on my '84. I cut the pins and drove them out on my current '94. I was going to had the full door for when I wheel in bac weather and the half door the rest of the time. the holes on the 84 hinges are bigger then the .25 holes on my current door. There does not appear to be anything in the body size hinge. I'll have to check it tomorrow.

I used a set of house hinge pins. They work perfect

Ok so it appears Jeep used at least 2 different types of door pins. One is a splined pin that looks like a nail with no head. The other I have found is a simple roll pin.
