I have a 2000 classic and i need to cut a hole in the lower valance to get these to hook up correct?

Not sure what you mean by valence (no websters beside me lol)

I drilled a hole in the unibody pass side. To mount mine.

When I ordered mine I had the option of hooks or d-rings using the same mount so they will work on either one.

He means the plastic end caps on a 97+ and yes you have to trim the hole out bigger but i would just cut the damn thing off like i should have done:D

These are the same brackets, you can buy the d-ring mounts of you wanted too.I never had to drill a hole anywhere to get these to bolt on,they even cleared the oem front steering skid.
These need to go
Will ship on your dime, paypal users to add %5 paypal fee.I have 99% on ebay with over 350 on my score.I have a shop in east indiana you more than welcome to pick these up at,shipping should be about $15 usps

Well you don't have to drill but there are extra holes for adding more support. The passenger one will only mount with one bolt through the Unibody, for more support it is reccomended even in the installation directions to drill an additional mounting hole.

I had to notch out an inch on each side for my OEM skid it would not have fitted if I did not. Maybe there is a difference in what you have than what i have. Either way these are great and I aint trying to cause no flak on your thread.

here is a Pic! You can clearly see the lil notch on each corner I had to cut out for it to fit flush.

Just the brackets cost that, not to metion the tow hooks are installed and better than what they come with.
