Hi-lift jack question

I bought a used Hi-lift jack and there are a few little parts i had questions about because I need to replace them.
1: Do you know where I can find the Handle Clip Spring? Would they sell them at Home Depot or something?
2: Where the steel handle is connected to the socket there is a cotter pin. It’s all rusted and about to break. I was also wondering if anyone knows what size it is? Also if anyone has any spares lying around that would be great.
3: Last question. It’s a little rusty because its old but it works fine. I want to paint it though. What paint would you recommend that would be fine. Don’t worry I’m going to take it apart clean it and only paint the climbing poll, the base and a few other things.

I looked on the Hi-lift website which was no help and they had an Ebay store where I could only by the steel poll if I wanted the cotter pin, and shipping was more than the cost of the clip spring.

The handle spring isnt really important. Get one of the daystar rubber retainers.

Rustoleum rattle-cans. I like "hammered black", just used it on my vents and my Rock Lizard front bumper. Sand to remove rust, ruff up old paint, hit it with some primer and go.

Thanks for the help but summit racing still only sold the cotter pin with the steal poll. Im going to Home Depot tomorrow to see if i can find some.
And then onto the paint.
