Hey Chicago area people

Are we going to meet up somewhere and make a caravan or are we going to just wander in seperately? I think most everyone is leaving friday night. If any one wants to convoy, why don't we meet up at the Shell station at I-88 and RTE 251 in Rochelle. Any other suggestions let me know.
Might as well start the party Friday night!!

I will be gone this weekend, but will be back Tuesday a.m. So Y'all let me know what you decided then.

I have no idea when I am leaving.

I still have around 20-30 hours of fab-and-install left to do, I figure I'll only be able to make a couple spins around the block, call it a test drive, load up on the trailer and go.

wanted to leave as early as wed. night or thursd morn, but it looks like I wouold be leaving until friday.....

I got back from up north :canada: at 3:00 am, had to help my dad close down his cabin, last minute thing. I am at work trying to get caught up again, so I can leave and get behind again! :doh:
I am pretty much done (for now) with the XJ, but I do have to get the tow bar adjusted, and the camper ready.

Is I-88 an ok route for every one, pretty straight shot to QC and I-80 from there. That seems to be a central meeting point. I am about an hour from there, so I am planning on being there about 5:30 or 6:00.

I have been looking forward to this trip since I read about it in JP in January!

I'm more of a solo driver (made it nicely 2 years ago on my own, and with a passenger last year) and I don't have a good idea when I'm rolling. May be as early as 5:00 PM Friday, as late as 10:00 AM Saturday.

I'll be playing "catchup" with a certain friend from michigan...he'll be in front of me by about two hours....

I'm still playing games with the wheel base, and trying to keep my new 33s from rubbing too much on the fender flares.
