Ive been a member for some time and I have owned a white XJ on 35s. Sold the Jeep to pay for school and I have been missing it!

I bought a 95 5 speed with 154,000 for $1,250 and I have a little bit of money floating around. So, I have ordered and recieved the teraflex 2 inch BB but since moving out of my parents, I have lost the comfort of doing work on my driveway. I was wondering if anyone in this great chapter would be willing to provide a driveway for me to work on my Jeep.

I would be willing to buy lunch, dinner, breakfast, and/or beer, or cash. I have all the tools, jacks, stands, and know how so I wont be on your driveway all day! Oh, and I wouldnt mind an extra hand as well!!!

Thanks guys!

Nick

Id love to help! but I live in an apartment!

post up when you're going to do it, and I'll see if I cant swing it!

Beggars can’t be choosers! Haha. I am available weekdays from 13:30 and every weekend!

Could you list the parts in the lift?

I can't give you a full day, but a few hours . .

I did a BB lift on a TJ and all that was some spring spacers, a Body lift, with the Moter mount lift and the t-cace shifter ajustment in under 90 minutes on the way to the Rubicon one late Thursday night. The owner was helping someone put a Tie Rod on another rig, took them 85 minutes!:eye:

I dont think it would be as much as work as the lifting of the TJ you did. 2 inch spacers front and shackles rear.

BIlly, thanks for offering your driveway. The only thing I am worried about would be driving up to Sac after school/1:30 pm on Mon. and not having enough time to finish the lift. What do you think?

I would take Letterman up on his offer. Depending on when you do it, I might swing by and lend a hand.

Please note: When I say "lend a hand", I really mean I will drink all Dave's beer and heckle you while not doing any work at all. Ask Karstic for clarification on this if needed.

You forgot to add that you will call our Cell phones in our pockets when we are under the Jeep!

I am not home during the week but you are more than welcome to use my driveway. I might have half a day this weekend and next.

I live in San Jose off First Street near 880.

Cool as the other side of the pillow!

He showed up around 6:30pm, I was still trying to get out the house but my kids were mess'in with me.

Got started around 6:45, nice slow work, front end took no time at all, started on the back and I got my finger in between a bolt end and a 3 foot breaker bar. :bawl:

Nick finished the rest of the back end as I drank the bud he showed up with!

Finger will be fine, he was done before 8:45pm, would have been faster if I could learn not to get my fingers in the way.

Thanks for comming over Nick! Also get some Mini skids I will weld that on if you need it, and get some Diff Skids front and rear!

Also anyone have some 29" 31" 32" Mud/offroad Tires and rims sitting around for Cheep or even Free? Someone hook the kid up!!! PLEASEZ!:worship:

I have 2 ProComp muds that Kernel gave me 31x10.5r15... like 30% tread?

I'll have to 'steal' em back from Mini Baja, but whatever...

Project went great!

Like David said, the front end took nearly no time at all and it wasnt before long that we were wrenching in the back! This was where David almost died and I really think he jinxed himself by saying "No hospital runs tonight". So David started crying and I held him close and gave him beer until the sobbing stopped. We finished up the rear and now the Jeep has a little more testosterone.

I am happy with the hieght but now I think I need bigger tires and a few skids!

Thanks again David! Much appreciated!
