HELP!!!

I dont have the confadince to do it myself. As it sits I am gonna have to do one of 3 things.

1. Get some help from NAXJA on drilling them out. Put on Brown dog mount and run that way
2. Buy a donor Jeep and swap the entire motor. Swap motor with broken mount into donor Jeep and sell it to a junkyard or part it out.
3. Take it to a shop and pay $70 per labor hour ...... ugh :(

Use left handed drills (the next size down from the bolt) while doing this. There is always the chance that the vibration and torque will back it out enough that you can grab it with some vice grips or weld a nut onto it.

Also, use a smaller VERY sharp drill first to center drill the end of the bolt as carefully as you can, and try to keep the drill as parallel with the original bolt as possible.

Thats what I understand is the process ...I am just not sure I trust myself to do it lol.

I've done the left handed drill bit thing before, and both times the bolts ended up coming out themselves due to the "vibration and torque". I'm not that handy with this sort of thing but it wasn't a problem.

Well both myself and a mechanic tried to get these out today to no avail. I found that someone had tried to do this before me and broke a easy out in one of the holes. At this point I dont have many options but to swap another motor into it. Not all bad though, cyl #5 has 30 psi compression anyhow. Didn't even bother to check number 6.

Looks like I am gonna go look at a parts Jeep some time in the next few days. I will have to post up a thread if I am gonna do a wrench party. I think I should be able to manage most of it myself with the help of my 60 year old father lol. I might need some help if I decide it is going to be too much for me to handle, I hope some of y'all might be able to lend a hand if it comes to that.
