i just purchased a sye and rear driveshaft from aa and tom woods. i have this guy who is just a complete flake on my about putting this together. 4 times he's blown me off now. if anyone is down for helping me put this together it would be greatly appreciated. ive had this for almost 2 months now. i would do it myself but i dont have whole grasp on it like some of you may. thanks a lot. andrew

I don't really have the know-how but I'd be willing to help, just did my SYE (HnT) this past weekend, and I'm at slickrock this weekend (well.. down the road)... that is if you were a bit closer. If anyone decides to give this man a hand and passes near Fremont, I'll be glad to tag along and help.

Wish you were closer but it is much easier than you would ever think. Just get a good set of external snap ring pliers and don't be cheap they are not that much but will help a lot. Bolting on the rear shocks or even puting on new leaf springs gave me more trouble. Yes it is that easy to replace the shaft just sounds scary.

The shafts just slide in and out, well at least in my case. Just remember to get a 12 point 10mm socket for the top T-case bolt and a good torque wrench that will go upto at least 180ft lbs.

I am sure the AA instructions are great too but here are the Tera instructions I used for mine, they were very detailed. Click for instructions

I just took my t-case apart on sunday to install my 2-low kit, and after removing the driveshafts and skid plates, it wasnt all that bad of a job...

Fresno is quite a drive, but if you're really hard up I can plan a weekend to head down closer to the end of the month...
